Impulse sanitaryware products are manufactured to the highest standards in our modern factory in Southern China. The factory is certified to ISO 9001:2008 by CICS, (Complete Intergrated Certification Services) the UK based certification body.
Vitreous ceramic sanitary ware however is subject to the unique nature of its manufacturing process. Unlike machine formed products in steel or plastic, ceramic products shrink during firing and may be subject to minor shape variations but they have no significant effect upon the finished look or installation of the product.
We offer a warranty against fair wear and tear and faults occurring in any correct domestic installation as follows:
10 years: Ceramic products, acrylic baths and shower enclosures
5 years: Brassware
1 year: Other accessories and fittings, including seats and cistern fittings.
This guarantee covers products supplied by Impulse Bathroom Products under the Impulse brand name and installed in the United Kingdom and The Republic of Ireland. If, in our opinion, the product does not meet our exacting quality standards as a result of a manufacturing defect and has failed under the terms of the guarantee we will undertake to credit, repair, or replace that item such as we determine. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Whilst we take great care to ensure our products reach customers in perfect condition every item should be thoroughly inspected prior to any installation/removal work commencing.
If a claim is made, under the guarantee, we ask that the following conditions are met:
i. The product has been fitted in accordance with our fixing instructions, new Water Regulations and general good plumbing practice.
ii. That proof of purchase is supplied at the time of claim.
iii. The product has been maintained and cared for in accordance with our Care Instructions.
iv. We cannot accept responsibility for the failure of a product if, in our opinion, it has been
modified, misused, neglected or wilfully or accidentally damaged. It should have been used
for its sole design purpose.
v. We must be given reasonable opportunity to inspect the installed situation. If removed, the product should be retained.
vi. Our policy is one of continuous improvement. If, in our opinion, the product has failed
under the terms of the guarantee and a replacement is offered, but identical goods are no
longer available, we will replace with the nearest equivalent.
vii. Our liability is limited to the single product in question and not the whole bathroom suite.
This guarantee does not extend to cover consequential loss or damage or installation costs
arising from the defective product.
viii. This guarantee is not transferable to the new owner of the product.
